Additional Property Attributes

Property is down gradient from a former dry cleaning site with a known release. No COCs were detected in site soil or groundwater samples.

Former Use: The subject site is a 0.33 acre parcel of improved property containing a 3,800-square foot, brick with concrete finish building and concrete parking area. According to city directories the property was listed as Dixie Auto Parts and Wrecking Company from 1950 to 1964, Black Air Conditioning Company in 1974, no listing from 1978 to 1992, and was occupied by Dinesh Patel in 1995 and 1999, who was the former owner of the self-serve laundry mat. The 1950 and 1979 Sanborn fire insurance maps showed the property was used as an auto repair shop. According to Mr. John Nguyen, the property has been Speedy Wash Coin Laundry since approximately 2005 and was operated as a similar business by Mr. Dinesh Patel.
