Former Use: The site was once part of the Islais Creek watershed until it was filled with earthquake debris sometime after the 1906 earthquake. The Caltrain railroad tracks (formerly Southern Pacific) have occupied the Subject Property since at least 1938 and likely prior to this. Interstate 280 has been present above the Subject Property since at least 1968 and likely earlier. Based on available information, Caltrain owns the property and the California Department of Transportation has a Right-of-Way for their elevated Freeway 280 across the property.
