Additional Property Attributes

The Site consists of the former Cleveland Trust Building. The first floor of the building is unoccupied, the second floor is occupied by an art gallery and an office tenant. The Site consisted of residential or undeveloped land until 1900. In 1905, the northern portion of the Site was developed with a five-story commercial building with basement. By 1910, the southern portion of the Site was developed with the existing two-story commercial building with basement on the southwestern area of the Site, as well as a three-story commercial building with basement in the rear of the existing building that housed a theater. By 1926, the northern building was improved with an addition and the eastern portion of the southern building was razed. General use of the northern building consisted of various retail stores, a lodge hall, and a tire, boat and furniture warehouse. General use of the southern building consisted of various retail stores, a theater, art gallery,restaurant and bank. The northern building was razed in the 1970s and the area paved in the 1980s.
