Additional Property Attributes

The property includes the former Charlotte High School building. Approximately half of the building is operated as an existing residential property, Old School Village. The remaining vacant, dilapidated portion of the structure is planned for rehabilitation and will include an apartment complex which caters to adults 55 and over, as well as community common spaces such as a game room, courtyard, and library. Total investment is currently estimated at $4,000,000 for selective demolition and extensive renovations to the existing structure and property.

Former Use: The Property consists of approximately 5.14-acres developed with the former Charlotte High School. Charhian Development, LLC is the owner of the subject property. The former Charlotte High School spans roughly the north half of both parcels, and consists of the original 1914 school with multiple later additions. A portion of this former school building was remodeled in 2004, and currently operates as an apartment complex. The remainder of the subject property contains paved driveway and parking areas, grass, and landscaped areas.
