Additional Property Attributes

A stolen out-of-service transformer was reported to have been connected to a truck via chain and pulled along Mission and North End Omak Lake Roads resulting in an intermittent oil discharge to the road (asphalt and gravel) surface. Staining continued along the road to the gravel driveway located at 54 North End Omak Lake Road and off of the asphalt onto gravel. The residential road consisted of crushed asphalt mixed with road gravel. The spill continued intermittently along the gravel road approximately 190 feet to the transformer's final resting position. The transformer has a capacity of approximately 25-gallons of mineral oil. Cleanup activities included appropriate removal and disposal of the transformer and oil on affected road surface.

Former Use: The Omak Longhouse Facility was built for ceremonial and gathering purposes and is currently in use. It's located at 25B Mission Road, Omak, Washington. This building consists of electrical and plumbing components and a large gathering room with stadium-type seating on two sides of the room.
