Additional Property Attributes

This property is vacant and the City is considering whether or not to accept it as a donation for future parkland. The property is adjacent to a closed landfill. There were several RECs sited that may preclude the City from accepting the property. The eastern half of the property had 5 former sand and gravel mining pits on it, and these are currently filled with unknown material. A Phase II ESA would be necessary in order to characterize the fill material. Additionally, the property is adjacent to a former landfill. This could mean that the site has affected groundwater. Limited Site Investigation of the drainage feature had no samples with concentrations above applicable PCLs Former Use: The property was formerly a sand and gravel mining pit in the 1950's. Much of the remaining site was used as farmland.
