Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Property appears to have been developed with the Structure B since the 1920s. The structure was dually utilized as both a store and a residence, and later used as a multi-unit apartment building. Structure A was constructed on the Property in the 1940s and housed the West Greenville Hotel on the second floor and a restaurant and store on the ground level floor. The 1961 Sanborn map depicts that the open lawn area located on the Property was previously utilized as a coal yard. A small detached office was also located on the Property during that era. In addition, a small store operated on the western portion of the Property as early as 1928, prior to the establishment of the hotel structure.
