Former Use: The Site and surrounding areas have historically been associated with the Oahu Railway and Land Company (OR&L), the main railroad on Oahu from 1889 until 1947. In 1914 a number of multi-unit residential structures had been constructed at the Site. In 1922, construction of the Tong Fat building was completed at the Site, which consists of a large commercial building with living quarters located on the second floor. Records indicate the Site has been used for similar commercial and residential purposes since development.
