Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site is located at 2 Concord Street in the Town of Peterborough, New Hampshire. The Site is currently the location of the Peterborough Town Library, a brick veneered, wood d building; referenced herein as the Site building. The Site building is located on a 0.76 acre parcel of land identified by the Town of Peterborough Assessor�s Office as Lot 139 on Tax Map U017; which is located on the northerly corner of the intersection of Concord Street and Main Street. The original portion of the Site building was constructed in 1892, occupies a footprint of approximately 2,000 square feet, and faces Main Street. Two additions have been constructed; one in 1956 to the rear of the original structure, occupying a footprint of approximately 1,750 square feet, and one in 1978 occupying a footprint of approximately 4,000 square feet. The Site building has two levels; one partially below grade and primarily used for conference room space, library stacks and other storage areas/rooms, and utility space. The upper level is at street grade along Concord Street and Main Street and is the primary public library space. A mezzanine room is located above the original library space and houses a historic documents room.
