Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Imperial Tobacco Company, Ltd. Of Great Britain & Ireland operated for drying and packing leaf tobacco. The original configuration of the facility included a steam drying room, tobacco press operations, two coal fired boilers, an engine room, an oil house, a smokestack, two artesian wells, a 20,000 gallon cistern, plus the east cooperage building. The facility expanded and operations changed and included the addition of a coal storage area and the western cooperage building.
