Additional Property Attributes

The Site is approximately 0.81-acres located at the intersection of Bedford and Spring Streets in Manchester, NH, in a mixed commercial/industrial/residential area. Past uses of the property from at least 1897 through until 1950 included industrial textile manufacturing operations as part of the Amoskeag Millyard Mixed Use District. The Site was initially one parcel owned by the City but was subsequently subdivided and is now comprised of two contiguous parcels, one owned by the City and the other owned by Bedford Lot Venture, LLC. The Site is currently operated by the City of Manchester Traffic Department as a municipal parking lot but a hotel and parking garage is planned for the site.

Former Use: The Site consists of approximately 0.81-acre Site is located at the intersection of Bedford and Spring Streets in Manchester, NH. The Site was initially one parcel owned by the City but was subsequently subdivided and is now comprised of two contiguous parcels, one owned by the City and the other owned by Bedford Lot Venture, LLC. The Site is currently operated by the City of Manchester Traffic Department as a municipal parking lot but a hotel and parking garage is planned for the site. The Site is located in a predominately commercial and residential area located in Manchester, NH. Properties to the north, south east, and west are generally occupied by commercial development with residential apartment complexes throughout. Based on information obtained during TRC�s 2015 Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), the Site was used as part of a textile mill since at least 1897 until the Site building were removed between the years of 1954 through 1964. The City of Manchester took possession of the Site in the late 1980s where the Site was developed as a municipal parking lot until present day.
