Additional Property Attributes

Arsenic was detected in soil above the Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) Remediation Goals (RGs) for residential use; lead was discovered in soil above industrial VCP RGs in one location. Concentrations of arsenic, chromium, and lead in groundwater exceed the VCP RGs for direct contact and Title 118 Numerical Standards. The City plans to raze the building and redevelop the area. Cleanup and/or Institutional/Engineering Controls are recommended before redevelopment and will depend on future use. Total Extractable Hydrocarbons as Diesel Number 2 were detected in soil, but all concentrations are below risk-based screening levels. VOCs were detected in soil gas samples, but no concentrations exceed the VCP RG for silty soil.

Former Use: The property has historically served as a caf�a veterinarian clinic, and a storage/distribution facility for food products and tires/batteries. It most recently served as a Laundromat during the early 2000s. The property was hit by a tornado in 2013 contributing to the derelict state.
