Additional Property Attributes

The City of Austin bought the AISD property and is building 156 units of multifamily rental homes and 32 homes for ownership that is affordable housing to accommodate 30-60% MFI. A state of the art learning center will funding as a community hub and will provide classes and a food pantry to meet various needs of residents.

Opening late 2024 at 3811 Tannehill Ln in northeast Austin.
Norman Crossing will be a 156-unit family property next to Norman-Sims Elementary. Norman will also include affordable homeownership units that will be built by Austin nonprofit Guadalupe Neighborhood Development Corporation and managed by Foundation Communities.
