Additional Property Attributes

The property was utilized as a general mechanic and automotive repair shop. This use and potential offsite historical uses are considered potential RECs. Oily surface soil staining was found on the property, and was identified as a potential REC due to the magnitude of stained soil evident at one portion of the site. Big Sky Economic Development, because of the EPA Brownfield Assessment Grant, was able to assist a buy-sell agreement that was stagnate because of environmental concerns. The purchase of the property allows a small business owner to expand his plumbing business from three FT employees to five (FT)!

Former Use: Raymond Weber purchased the property in 1995 and his family has owned the property since 1996. Since 1996, two tenants have leased the property from the Raymond Weber Unified Credit Trust. The property is currently vacant and contains one single-story shop building with steel exterior, a concrete driveway that extends approximately 18 feet in front of the shop, a large gravel area in front of the building, and a chain link fence that surrounds the target property. The southern portion of the site is covered by vegetation and grass. The historic use of the target property is a mechanic and automotive repair shop since 1996. Prior to 1996, Sanborn maps suggest the property was used for residential purposes.
