Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Number of Parcels and Acreage - One 0.62 acre parcel; Number of Building(s) and Square Footage - One single-story commercial building (northern building) containing 3,600 square feet with attached shop (southern building) containing 900 square feet. The combined buildings are divided into eastern and western suites. Current Property Use - Eastern suite: vacant, Western suite: tractor repair services. Standard and other historical sources were able to document that the property was initially developed with the northern building in 1915. The southern shop building was added to the northern building between 1962 and 1975. Historic occupants of the subject property included a seed company, a cotton exchange company, auction house, and store; however, the exact dates of occupancy are unknown. Additionally, a water company (Nesbit Water Association) occupied the eastern portion of the northern building from the early 1980s until 2007. The soap making company occupied the western portion of the northern building and the southern shop building from 2000 to 2005. The western portion of the northern building and the southern shop building have been utilized for tractor service operations since 2005 which has included the use of a paint booth.
