Additional Property Attributes

Property has been sold to private individuals. Former Use: Jon and Jim Meriwether, father and son, established Merco Inc., doing business as Merco Marine, in 1979 as a small part time business. The original focus of Merco back in 1979 was sales of pain, hot tubs, and Jet Skis. In 1993, Merco Marine began to establish itself as a manufacturer of boat docks and buildings as well as associated hardware such as roof framing, trusses, and angle iron used in the construction of marina equipment. The subject site includes 30,000 square ft of indoor space for manufacturing and an outdoor roofed storage area for lumber, steel plates, pipe, angle iron, and float drums, Historical operations at the facility have included on-site storage and use of fuel oil, lubricants, paint supplies, and other potentially hazardous products used to manufacture marine buildings and docking equipment.
