Additional Property Attributes

The subject site was recorded as PIN numbers 3850-1952-0134 and 3850-1951-3763 (Parcels 1 and 2 respectively). Parcel 1 is an undeveloped lot used for lumber storage and Parcel 2 is developed with two structures and two open storage sheds. The structure located along the northern boundary, used as office space and supply storage, is approximately 8,950 square-feet according to the Nash County Tax Office. A second building located on the southern border, used as a shop for custom building designs, is approximately 4,320 square-feet. Two open storage sheds are also used on Parcel 2 for additional lumber storage. Together, the subject site comprises approximately 1.865 acres.

Based on historical information and review of Sanborn� Maps, Parcel 1 was developed prior to 1917 when it was used as the Rocky Mount Oil Company and automotive storage. Parcel 1 remained an oil company with two oil aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) until at least 1970. Parcel 2 was developed between 1923 and 1949 when it was used as the People�s Supply Company until at least 1985. Currently, both parcels are owned and operated by Log Cabin Homes, LTD.
