Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The site was developed and part of a railroad warehouse in 1884, with small retail stores nearby. The current building was constructed between 1884 and 1888. The Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) occupied the building starting in 1888, along with other stores (e.g. dry goods, jewelry, and stationary). From approximately 1903 to 1923, a Paints, Oils, & Wallpaper store occupied the site. From 1934 until approximately 2015, C.M. Brinton & Sons Printing operated in the building, which printed the Record-Courier, a local newspaper. The IOOF Lodge Hall also remained in the building until approximately 2013. Retail stores and restaurants have also occupied the building intermittently.
