Additional Property Attributes

This property is undergoing master plan development in conjunction with the adjacent former Machia Estate property. Expected reuse will be mixed, with library, community center, commercial and/or residential being considered.

Former Use: The Site consists of an approximately 0.5-acre parcel which contains a single vacant building which was formerly used as a restaurant. Prior to use as a restaurant, the building was used as a barber shop for many years and was also used for a short time as an office for the foundry. The exterior portions of the Site consist of a gravel and asphalt parking area located at the south end of the Site and grassy areas to the north. The host vicinity consists of residential properties (primarily to the north), and commercial properties including Desourcies Market, a former used automobile parts and vehicles sales and service facility (the Machia property), a veterinary office, tracks for the Lamoille Valley Rail Road, and a gas station.
