Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property consists of three contiguous parcels of land totaling 0.82 acres. The western parcel is currently developed with one retail structure occupied by Da Barber Shop. This parcel also has up to three underground storage tanks (USTs) to the east on the onsite structure. The other two parcels currently consist of vacant land. The remainder of the subject property consists concrete paving and grassy areas. Historical aerial photographs, fire insurance maps, city directories, and property records indicate that the western parcel was occupied by a residence from at least 1907 to at least 1951 and a retail petroleum station from at least 1964 to at least 1970. Other uses of the western parcel include a taxi company in 1975, car sales and rental business in 1980, and an office in 1989. This parcel has been occupied by Da Barber Shop since at least 1992. Historical records indicate that the central parcel was occupied by a residence from at least 1907 to at least 1970 and was listed as being occupied by an automobile sales business in 1989. Historical records indicate that the eastern parcel was occupied by two residences from at least 1907 to at least 1951, one residence from at least 1931 to at least 1948, and a retail petroleum station from at least 1961 to at least 1980. The central and eastern parcels have consisted of vacant land since 2007 and at least 1985, respectively.
