Additional Property Attributes

Acquired involuntary by the City of Euclid in December 2017. Phase I completed by Mannik Smith Group revealed two RECs, both related to the storage and handling of petroleum products in both buildings on the parcel. (Southern building formerly auto towing/repair garage. Northern building formerly tool and die shop.) Phase II complete. Data indicated that the soil on the site was not impacted above GNS for commercial/industrial use. Arsenic, cadmium, chromium and lead were detected above UPSU in the groundwater samples. They do not appear to pose an undue risk due to the possible intended commercial use of the site as the Site lies within the Euclid Central Corridor-Area Wide USD, which renders the potable use pathway incomplete. Based on the findings and conclusions, no additional investigation was recommended. CCLRC Assessment Grant complete.

Former Use: Operational History: The property lies on a stretch of St. Clair Avenue that has been home to uses that are industrial/manufacturing in nature. Built in 1954, there are two buildings on the parcel that have historically housed auto repair facilities. Current Site Use: The site has been vacant and abandoned for the last three years.
