Focused Phase II concluded that although no groundwater was encountered during the investigation, soil concentrations exceeded BUSTR Action Levels near the one 6,000-gallon orphan UST in the southern portion of the site. The owner is now working with the consultant on completing a BUSTR Class C Determination Request Form to determine if there is a potentially responsible party to resolve the contamination. CCLRC involvement complete.

Former Use: Historically, 12201 Buckeye Rd has been the site of various gas stations and a laundromat. It is now a vacant lot. 12301 Buckeye Rd had been the site for a single-family residence that was demolished. It is now a vacant lot as well. Buckeye Laundromat LLC is the applicant. The company is proposing to build a laundromat to service the adjacent neighborhood. The property is owned by Buckeye Area Development Corporation, the neighborhood community development corporation. Additional Phase -I for funding purposes performed and tank removal performed.
