Additional Property Attributes

This former commercial and residential site contained 4 identified areas due to: former service station, former heating oil USTs, imported soils and lead containing soils detected. 1,350 tons if Lead and PAH Impacted soils, that exceeded commercial/industrial land and commercial worker direct contact standards from IA-1 thru IA-4 were excavated and disposed of off-site facilities. The Ohio EPA issued a Covenant not to SUE (CNS) based in the issued NFA in the summer of 2018. Redevelopment included a 49,350 sq.ft., 4-story 123 room hotel was constructed at a construction cost of $11,822,00, in June 2019.. The Northern part of this site is being utilized for hotel parking with possible future redevelopment on southern parcels bordering Chester Avenue at a future date. . Building Construction to begin after the reciept fo NFA/CNS in summer of 2018.

Former Use: This property was formerly developed with multiple residential houses, an apartment building, a church and a former gas station. the Gas Station was present in the southwest portion of the site from the 1950's mto 1970's. the Colonial apartment building with a resturant was located on the southeast portion of the property from 1910's to 1970's the remainder of the site was occupied by residential structures and were demolished between 1980 and 2004.
