Additional Property Attributes

No RECs have been identified from this Phase I ESA; however, other environmental issues were found on the property including approximately 600 square-feet of tan Lead-Based Paint (LBP) on concrete exterior north and west walls (bottom half of walls) of the H.D. Lee Building and approximately 1,000 square-feet of gray LBP on a support leg of the water tower. An asbestos survey conducted in November 19, 2015 confirmed the presence of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) in the building. Additionally, three electrical transformers that potentially contain polychlorinated biphenyl (PCBs) and a concrete paved area provided indications of a possible former AST were located on the property but no evidence of leaking was observed.

Former Use: The approximately 3 acres property is located next to an active rail line in a mixed residential and industrial use area. The property includes a vacant building and an out of use water tower. The 30,500 square foot single story building has housed multiple manufacturing companies since at least the 1940�s. The building is accessible but deteriorated and without power or running water.
