Additional Property Attributes

This property will be leased-to-own by the Town of Milton and the building will be retained. This assessment has revealed no Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs), Controlled RECs, or Historical RECs associated with the subject property. This assessment revealed no de minimis conditions associated with the subject property, with the following exceptions: There is a utility shelf in the basement with paint and other household cleaning chemicals. Because of the possibility of these potentially hazardous liquids getting into the basement floor drain system and into the subsurface, extreme care should be used when using these products. Based on the age of the building, it is possible that lead paint and asbestos containing materials (ACMs) are present in building materials. This Phase I ESA did not include surveys for any hazardous building materials. Surveys should be conducted prior to any renovation or demolition of the building. In regard to the noted de minimis conditions, it is WHEMs opinion that no further testing be conducted at this time.

Former Use: The current owner is Milton Grange #522 who acquired the property on 5/10/46 from Leon D. Latham. The prior property owner was Leon D. Latham, whose acquisition date is unknown. The building is currently in use as a Grange Hall.
