Additional Property Attributes

A property with illegal dumping including gasoline tanks, 55-gallon drums, transient pipe, roofing material and other miscellaneous construction debris was cleaned up with site specific Tribal Response Program funds. The site represented an environmental health hazard to the homeowners in the surrounding area, and the wildlife. All possible hazardous waste was analyzed and appropriately removed. The 16 acre site has now returned to its natural desert state and a small house will be built on the cleaned land. Former Use: The site was used for dumping of construction material, cars, boats, tanks, drums, trailers, and other miscellaneous debris for about 20 or more years. The dumping occurred at very close proximity to housing, making it a human and wildlife health hazard for many years.
