The Property contains the remains of a former wood-milling operation that operated from prior to 1957 until the mid-1990s.

Former Use: This property contains the remains of a former wood-milling operation that ran from prior to 1957 until the mid-1990's. Available information shows the mill only produced untreated, hardwood billets for use in the furniture manufacturing at other locations. While wood milling itself may not use hazardous substances or generate hazardous waste, hydraulic, lubricating and maintenance fluids in machinery could include solvents or other hazardous substances. In addition, eight 55-gallon drums of varying amounts of unknown contents are located on the property. It is owned by the daughter (inherited the property) of the original owner/operator, her father. Her mother inherited the property when her father died, and then she inherited the property when her mother died. The daughter did not work at the facility.
