Additional Property Attributes

Several VOCs were detected in soil above the direct contact NDEQ residential voluntary cleanup program (VCP) remediation goals (RG) at one location approximately 15-17 feet below ground surface (bgs). The compound - 1,2, 4-trimethylbenzene - also exceeded its industrial RG at the same location. Several VOCs exceeded their NDEQ VCP RG for the direct contact with groundwater exposure pathway. Several VOC concentrations in groundwater also exceeded both the residential and industrial EPA Vapor Intrusion Screening Levels (VISLs). Ethylbenzene and naphthalene exceeded their respective residential sub-slab soil gas VISL; naphthalene also exceeded its industrial VISL. Due to the evidence of petroleum related contamination, the site has been referred to the NDEQ Petroleum Remediation Section and is awaiting future investigation. Asbestos-containing materials and lead-based paint are present in the building.

Former Use: The Property served as a filling station and apartments from 1948-1960; an auto repair shop from 1960-1975; and storage from 1975-1995.
