Additional Property Attributes

The site is located in a light industrial area in north central Austin, near major employers and public transportation. CoA purchased this property in 1995, following Phase I/II ESA investigations. Further soil testing was completed in 2001. In 2003, an explosion occurred while preparing the site for use as a North Service Center for Austin Water Utility. Chemicals related to the previous owner's operations were found to be the source. The site entered and received residential closure through the TCEQ Corrective Action program following cleanup of the property in 2017. This Phase I reviewed information on the previous investigations and was completed to determine if there were any remaining concerns for redevelopment of the property for public use.
