Additional Property Attributes

The site is zoned within the Central Business District and is located across from the new baseball stadium in the Oregon Trail Park. Improvements at the site include a 3,168 square feet metal quonset building (1952) and a 2,000 square feet cinder block building (1947), both of which are currently used for storage. The quonset building was historically used for grain storage, and in recent years the site owner has utilized this building for storage and minor, infrequent maintenance of his tractors and farm equipment. The cinder block building appears to have been historically utilized for repair of vehicles and agricultural equipment, was briefly occupied by a welding shop in the 1990s and a carpenter in the early 2000s through approximately 2010. The remainder of the site was/is used as pasture/hayfield. Small amounts of asbestos are associated with window glazing and roof tar of the cinder block building and should be taken into consideration during future demolition. The Phase I identified recognized environmental conditions (RECs) based on the historic use.
