Additional Property Attributes

The 0.17 acre site consists of a two story steel-, brick-clad building located at the corner of 20th Street North and 1st Avenue North. The building can be easily accessed from 1st Avenue.

Former Use: The property served as a movie house for the predominately African American community from the 1940s until the 1970s. Since the closing of the theater, the building has served as furniture storage space, a barbershop, and a seamstress shop. The site is currently vacant and owned by The Holland Project organization.
