Additional Property Attributes

A complete asbestos inspection was completed on three residential structures located at 2016, 2020, and 2104 Meridian Avenue in Cozad, NE. The purpose was to identify all asbestos-containing materials (ACM) prior to demolition of the structures to make way for a new city park. 2106 Meridian Avenue did not contain any ACM. Building materials at both 2020 and 2014 Meridian Avenue tested positive for ACM. All ACM has been removed from the two structures and properly disposed of. The site is ready for redevelopment.

Former Use: Former residences that are now vacant and dilapidated. City purchased and demolished the residences to make way for a new city park.
