Additional Property Attributes

Project Background: The scope of the project is site assembly and demolition of three or more parcels on Euclid Avenue at the intersection of Belvoir Blvd. A private developer is interested in redeveloping one of the buildings, demolishing the building on PPN -022 for parking to support the remaining development. Operational history and current use(s) of the site: The two properties combined are a total of .35 acres of commercial land with a vacant 2, 673 sq. ft. former retail store and adjacent vacant grassed lot area. Unoccupied for several years, the forfeited property has fallen into disrepair. This property is targeted demolition to support development elsewhere on the block. Phase I ESA noted two RECs/IAs in connection with the site: First, there was a former dry-cleaning facility on the site. Second, there was a dry-cleaning facility in operation to the north of the site. Both RECs were of concern for VOCs. Developer is proceeding with acquisition first quarter 2019. First Quarter 2019 Developer acquired property in January 2019. CCLRC is working with developer to acquire remainder of block for redevelopment.
