Additional Property Attributes

Old Town Pump #7 is located in the Historic downtown area of Butte next to the Montana Standard and Archives. The site has been underutilized and blighted due to the perceived presence of petroleum contamination. An interested redeveloper requested a limited brownfields investigation to determine if tanks and piping were still present. DEQ completed a MT TBA geophysical investigation, which identified the location of three tanks and associated dispenser piping. Headwaters RC&D may complete a Phase II ESA on behalf of the property owner to remove tanks, complete environmental sampling, and facilitate redevelopment of the property.
