Additional Property Attributes

This site has been referred to EPA for additional review by the EPA Targeted Brownfields Assessment Team. Note made on 10/20/2020 by Camilla Warren, PO for this grant. Assessment of this site has bearing on three adjoining brownfield sites:236909, 236910, and 236911. It is a former dry cleaner that is a REC to itself and the other sites. Former Use: The subject property consists of a 0.17-acre parcel of land developed with one structure that is currently vacant. The remainder of the property consists of grassy areas and concrete parking/drive areas. Historical aerial photographs and fire insurance maps indicate that the property was undeveloped from at least 1920 to at least 1951. Property records indicate that the property has been developed with the current structure since 1960 and that various dry cleaning facilities occupied the structure from at least 1965 to at least 1995. The structure has been vacant since at least 2013. Regulatory agency records indicate that this facility utilized PCE and other spent halogenated solvents during it?s time of operation. The current property owner confirmed this information.
