Additional Property Attributes

A former Western Cooperative facility (now known as Huss Auto Repair) immediately adjacent and upgradient to the subject property was listed as a leaking underground storage tank site when a release was confirmed during tank and dispenser line removal in April 2012. In addition, a pile of tires, damaged rally vehicles, and several 55-gallon drums and other containers were observed throughout the adjacent property; staining was observed around the drums. A Phase II Environmental Site Assessment is recommended to collect groundwater samples to determine if any contamination has migrated from the auto repair shop onto the subject property. A mobile home is present on the site that was constructed in 1971. There are no plans to renovate or demolish the mobile home; however, due to the age of its construction, asbestos containing materials (ACM) may be present. If future plans change, an ACM survey should be completed.

Former Use: The property served as commercial space between the 1930s-1950s. Today the site is vacant except for a mobile home residence on the southern portion of the property. The mobile home is currently occupied.
