Thomas Harris utilized the former station�s facilities to store and sell heating oil into the 1990s. Currently, the former pump house and boiler house are the only remaining buildings from the former pumping station. All eight residential dwellings along the eastern portion of the Property are occupied.

Former Use: The Property consist of one 21.5-acre parcel containing eight single family residences (31, 43, 57, 69, 81, 97, 111, and 119 Pumping Station Drive) and a former crude oil pumping station (4435 VT RT 5) in Sutton, Vermont. The Property was developed by the Portland Pipeline Corporation (PPLC) in 1941 as one of eight pumping stations along an oil pipeline from Portland, Maine to Montreal, Quebec. The Property contains two right-of-way easements; one for a 12 and 18-inch crude oil pipeline and the other for a utility corridor. The Property was known as the West Burke Pumping Station from 1941 until 1952 when it was sold to Thomas Harris. Thomas Harris utilized the former station�s facilities to store and sell heating oil into the 1990s. Currently, the former pump house and boiler house are the only remaining buildings from the former pumping station. All eight residential dwellings along the eastern portion of the Property are occupied. The Property is surrounded by unimproved land and residential and industrial properties.
