Additional Property Attributes

First Quarter 2019 Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation, the local neighborhood development corporation, is working on a multi-year, multi-parcel development project titled Innovation Square. The development plan is adjacent to the Cleveland Clinic. The former church parcels lie within the development area site assembly labeled as Block 5 (2.89 acres). The redevelopment of this area includes 33 townhome flats, 20 stacked townhome units and 18 traditional townhomes for a total of 71 units and 62 parking spaces. FRDC requested a Phase I on twenty-two, single family parcels located within the proposed development area. The parcels in this site are all residential vacant lots, but for parcels 121-18-036 and 131-18-159 which were commercial/retail uses. The Phase I, prepared by Hull & Associates, indicated four RECs, including an auto garage/service station, dry cleaner, paint booth and a yard filled with construction and auto repair debris. The developer was engaging Hull directly to complete a Phase II for this area. CCLRC involvement complete.
