Additional Property Attributes

Due to the structural integrity concerns regarding the neighboring buildings if this building was removed, Glacier County has yet to develop a demolition plan for the Cut Bank Mercantile. Once the County has a definitive plan for the demolition of the building, DEQ has agreed to fund the abatement of the ACM roofing materials. Until that time the ACM in the roof (the last ACM that requires abatement) will be left in place.

Former Use: The Cut Bank Mercantile is an abandoned building which Glacier County now owns. Glacier County is hoping to demolish this building to provide parking and a pocket park for the neighboring Cut Bank Public Drug building.
