Property Highlights

The Property building was formerly used for the Wellington City Elementary School and was donated from the Carbon County School District Board of Education to the City of Wellington on November 11, 1993. It is the intent of the County to sell, renovate, or demolish the Property building.

Former Use: The Property consists of a 6.73-acre parcel of land and is improved with an approximately 32,000 square-foot (sq. ft.), 1-story building in addition to an apparent 4 outbuildings on the Property (based on aerial photographs). There was no information available on the Carbon County parcel regarding the specific number of outbuildings. The RBM survey will include the 32,000 sq. ft. Property building and any outbuildings observed on the Property, to be verified during the survey. Currently the Property is used to house the Wellington City Business Offices, the Fire and Police Department Offices. The Property building was formerly used for the Wellington City Elementary School and was donated from the Carbon County School District Board of Education to the City of Wellington on November 11, 1993. It is the intent of the County to sell, renovate, or demolish the Property building.
