Additional Property Attributes

The Property is comprised of one parcel totaling approximately 0.6 acres and is located on the southeastern portion of a city block within the downtown area of Fargo. The Property was developed as residences and a church by the late 1800s through the early 1960s when it was redeveloped into an office building with a paved parking lot. The Property is currently owned by the City of Fargo and includes a parking lot on the northern portion of the Property and one commercial building on the southern portion of the Property constructed in the early 1960s. The Property was operated by Northern States Power until the City purchased the Property in 1973. Various family services and community health offices operated at the Property from the 1973 until the 2010s and is currently the temporary offices of the City Transportation Department. The City plans to redevelop the Property as part of general downtown redevelopment; however, the specific use is uncertain due to the potential contamination on the Property.
