Additional Property Attributes

The Site is currently developed with a two-story, wood-framed building with a single-story cinderblock addition. The Site is improved on all but the western most edge of the parcel. Access to the Site building is provided by two doorways along Montello Street. The building is currently occupied by a restaurant, Malu's Lounge. Since at least 1885, the Site was historically developed with a carpentry shop, a storage building, and an unlabeled shed for the L.C. Bliss Co Shoe Factory and the H.T. Marshall Boot & Shoe Factory. The use of the Site remained the same during this time. By 1900, the carpentry shop, storage building, and shed were razed and redeveloped with the existing present-day building. As early as the 1940s, the Site building was utilized as a restaurant and has operated as such since. The site will be redeveloped as mixed residential/commercial use.
