Additional Property Attributes

According to information from the Greenville County Tax Assessor's website, the site consists of an approximate 2.99-acre parcel (Greenville County Tax Map No. 0003000200100) located at 505 North Main Street in Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina. The site is currently improved with a 14,364 square foot grocery store and connected 15,500 square foot retail/office space. The remaining portions of the site are improved with paved parking areas and landscaping.

Based on a review of historical information, the site was developed with residences and apartments as early as the 1900s and with commercial facilities beginning in the 1940s and 1950s,
including a filling station (Direct Oil Corp Gas Station), a dry-cleaning facility (Gregory's Laundry & Cleaners), beauty salons, banking and/or real estate offices and various retail facilities. The Direct Oil Corp Gas Station operated on the northeastern portion of the site from the 1940s through the late 1960s and included a small oil storage building. The Gregory's Laundry & Cleaners operated along the eastern site boundary during the 1950s. In the early 1970s, site developments were removed except for the filling station building, which was operated as an
automobile sales facility through the early 1980s. In the early 1990s, the site was redeveloped with the current multi-tenant retail/office spaces. The historic operations of the former filling
station (Direct Oil Corp Gas Station) and dry-cleaning facility (Gregory's Laundry & Cleaners) are identified as recognized environmental conditions (RECs).
