Materials determined to contain asbestos included thermal system insulation (TSI) and roofing felt/tar. Lead Based Paint was identified on plaster walls and a cinder block shelving unit in the basement. These contaminants were verified with an inspection by Seagull Environmental Technologies. Seagull Environmental documented the removal of the asbestos in their Phase I Report August 4, 2014. The remaining materials were removed prior to renovation. The roofing materials were completely removed as part of the reroofing. The lean paint materials were removed from the basement during pre-construction demolition in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
