This site consists of two buildings, built in 1961. The building fronting the property is occupied by commercial businesses. The rear building used to be a machine shop. The city wants to use this property as part of their civic center.

The site has been occupied by machine shops since 1985. The site was occupied by a printing business around 1949. The south adjoining property was occupied by a dry cleaning business around 1940. Asbestos-containing materials (ACM) were found in the onsite building. A subsurface investigation is recommended to determine if previous site uses have impacted the soil and groundwater at the site. The ACM should be abated prior to renovating or demolishing the building.
