Additional Property Attributes

The three-story structure operated as a public high school from 1912 until the mid-1990s. Due to the construction and use history of this site, ACM and LBP is suspected to be present.

No RECs were identified at the time of assessment. Lead-based paint and asbestos-containing material was found throughout the site.

An Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives was conducted. The alternatives for Asbestos-Containing Materials are to either leave in-place or fully abate/remove. The alternatives for Lead-Based Paint are threefold: leave in-place by not addressing, leave it in place and stabilize or enclose, or fully abate/remove the LBP. Recommend Alternative #2 for both the ACM and LBP, which is to fully abate the ACM and stabilize/enclose the LBP.
