Additional Property Attributes

The main building that's on site was built in 1916. Between 1916 and 1957, John Brooks operated the facility as "Brooks Service Station and Cabin Camps" - the cabins were on the north and west sides of the property. The building was only 1 story. In 1957, the Dotterers bought the property from Mr. Brooks, and continue to operate it as a service station and cabins. The built on a 2nd story to the building sometime between 1957 and 1965 (approx.) and added a room on the north side. Finally, in 1979, they stopped selling fuel. In 1988, they removed the tanks. In 1995, they sold the station to Bill Hurst, who sold it to Crystal Ordonez in 2011. The bank recently foreclosed on it in 2021. There have been no environmental assessments ever completed, and the OCC database only has 2 documents for this facility.

The buyer will use this building as the headquarters of her small business: Cherokee Floral and Gifts. She plans to grow her own flowers in greenhouses behind the main building.
