Additional Property Attributes

Asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and lead-based paint (LBP) were positively identified in both the 613 and 615 15th Avenue buildings. All ACM should be removed from the buildings prior to any disturbance such as renovation or demolition. Any LBP in poor condition or that may be damaged during renovation activities should be properly abated prior to building re-occupation. Total fungal bioaerosol concentrations detected in the indoor air of both buildings were higher than the total fungal bioaerosol concentrations detected in the outdoor baseline sample. Water damage was observed on both levels of the 615 15th Avenue building, with active mold growth observed on the first floor west side. The water stains and damaged materials appear consistent with damage from roof leakage. No visible mold or apparent water damaged materials were present on the first floor of the 613 15th Avenue building, but water damage and staining were observed on the floors and walls of the second level. Water damaged materials should be remediated prior to re-occupation of the property.
