Additional Property Attributes

The property has historically been a residential site and was more recently used as an apartment building for multiple years. The apartment building is currently vacant. The building materials used during construction and/or renovation of the structure may have included asbestos containing materials.

While there is no specific local development plan in the Town of Athens, the Town is in need of a new Town Hall building. The property sits adjacent to property already owned by the Town, and is near the central section of the Town, making this location ideal for a new Town Hall in the future.
