Property Highlights

Standard and other historical sources were able to document that the property was vacant and agricultural land from at least 1936 until 2000 when the current light manufacturing building was constructed. According to the owner representative, the building was occupied by a mill working plant or tool and die manufacturer, followed by Wise Medical products in 2009 and 2010, National Display Tennessee and Hitechfoam (HTF) LLC (medical foam companies) in at least 2017. The two current businesses began occupancy in the last two years.

Since construction, the building has been occupied by various manufacturing companies. Historical interior waste streams associated with the former manufacturing and tooling operations would have consisted of general hazardous substances and/or petroleum products. During the site reconnaissance, PM observed the floor to be in good condition with no staining observed. Additionally, no floor drains were present in the manufacturing areas. Based on the total length of time operations have been performed (22 years, with most individual operations being present less than 10 years) and the observed site conditions, PM has not identified the manufacturing operations as a recognized environmental condition (REC).
